Autumn Copse 32 x 16 inches Acrylic on board
Living in Dorset we see a lot of copses as we drive or walk through the beautiful country lanes around us. They look so majestic as they look down on us as if they are watching over all that happens around them...watching the cows and the sheep as they graze. Changing colours or sometimes in the middle of winter they seem like a mass of wooden skeletons morphed into one. but come spring they come to life again luscious greens once again giving them that elevated magisterial presence on top of the hills.
here, of course, we see them in their Autumn colours of yellow orange and reds.
